'm Rachel. I'm a 3-time Emmy Award-Winning freelance video editor who dabbles in motion graphics. Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with some of the biggest names in the industry, including ESPN, SEC Network, ACC Network, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports (formerly Turner Sports), CBS Sports, and Monumental Sports. From fast-paced promos to emotionally-driven features, I’ve had the opportunity to cut a wide range of content that airs across national platforms—and yes, I get paid to make grown men cry, thanks to all the heartfelt features I get to cut for ESPN. Some of the standout projects and shows I’ve contributed to include America’s Caddie Season 3 (ESPN+), College Football Playoffs, ESPN College GameDay, March Madness Confidential, Men’s & Women’s College World Series, The Masters, PGA Championship, NFL Draft, Sunday NFL Countdown, SportsCenter, SEC Startup, UNC All Access, This is Universal (Universal Studios Parks & Resorts), and Monday Night Football. I've also had the incredible experience of working live on-site at major events like the 2021 US Open (Tennis), the 2024 Rose Bowl, and March Madness in 2025. One highlight of my career was getting to embed and travel with CBS & The University of Auburn's men's college basketball team for 2.5 weeks in 2025 to create videos for CBS' March Madness Confidential show. I use Adobe After Effects for the motion graphics component of my job. A lot of my work involves art direction under tight deadlines, which is why I often utilize Adobe After Effects templates to customize the visual look for my videos. On occasion though, I find myself doing a little bit of motion tracking and compositing from scratch.
